Mine, skin, fish and gather, then smelt, tan, weave and forge what you carried home. Every trade climbs to skill 100, and work that comes off your bench keeps your name on it.

Realms ofElynia
A free browser MMO set in ancient Rome
You arrive on the outskirts of Rome with a borrowed weapon and no name. The road runs north from there: through nine regions, a trade of your own choosing, and a raid boss that cannot be taken down alone.
Free to play. No download, no launcher. It runs in this browser, on this tab.
Not merely an arena
Elynia opened as a duelling ground outside the Colosseum. It now runs from the dust of the outskirts through ash-buried Pompeii, down to the bronze gates of Avernus, across the cold sea, and up to the wall the empire could not hold: nine hand-written regions, thirty-six named foes, four solo dungeons and four raids.
Everything named on this page is live in the game today. Nothing here is a promise about a future patch.
Between battles
Expedition energy runs out. The rest of the realm keeps going without it: eighteen trades, a household that produces while you sleep, and a market where other players set the prices.
Mine, skin, fish and gather, then smelt, tan, weave and forge what you carried home. Every trade climbs to skill 100, and work that comes off your bench keeps your name on it.
Take up a trade
Ten levels of villa, room by room. Put workers in them and the garden, workshop and treasury keep producing while you are logged out.
List what you gathered, or answer a standing buy order someone else left open. Gold only, player to player, with no shortcut around it.
Found a guild at level 10, grow its treasury, and take its colours into declared guild war against another banner's roster.
The record
The world beyond Rome
Two continents are open, nine regions between them. Each one carries its own foes, its own boss, its own gathering nodes and its own history, written by hand and walked in order.

Five regions, twenty foes. It starts with stray dogs on a dust road and ends at the gates of the dead.
Four regions, sixteen foes. Land at the beachhead, pass the wall, and keep going into what Rome decided to leave behind.
Four seats · Real players
A raid has four seats and they are role-locked: one tank, one healer, two damage. Which seat you can claim comes from the build you are actually wearing. You can walk in short-handed, but the boss is measured against a full band: a solo run does not survive it, and a pair rarely does.

Everything below reads from the live game: the patch notes exactly as they were published, the top of the level board as it stands this minute, and the latest deeds as the game wrote them down.

Written by the game as it happens. Every name on this list is a real player.
The arena opens at level 5 and matches you inside your own tier band. There are seven of them, Tiro up to Invictus, so the top of this board is never the opponent you are handed on day one.
Raid bands get assembled on the Discord, and it is the shortest way to find out what a stone is going for before you list one.
Questions, answered plainly
Short answers, no hedging. Everything here is how the game actually works today.
Yes. Creating a gladiator and everything named on this page is free. There is an optional premium currency, Aurei, for conveniences. Nothing described on this page sits behind it.
The player market and every trade between players run on gold only. The premium currency is bound to the account that bought it: no route in the game transfers it to another player, and it never touches the market. That is structural, not policy. The code has no path for it.
No download, no launcher, no plug-ins. The whole game runs in this browser tab, and your character lives on the server, so you can open the same address anywhere and continue.
No. Your weapon decides your combat style: melee, ranged or magic. Equip a different one and your whole build changes with it. Your build decides which of the four raid seats you can claim.
Raids seat four real players in role-locked seats: one tank, one healer, two damage. There are also guilds with declared wars, a market where your friends set the prices, and a chat that reaches everyone.
Yes. The same game in the same browser, laid out for the screen it is on. You can pin it to your home screen and it opens like an app.
